What Is invisalign treatment like?
We use only custom-made aligners made in a quality-tested manufacturing laboratory. This helps ensure patients see optimal results while minimizing any discomfort associated with shifting teeth.
When you receive your trays, the most important factor in treatment is how long you wear them each day. We recommend wearing your trays for at least 22 hours out of each day, removing them only for meals or dental hygiene. Of particular importance is to always wear them while sleeping, as this constitutes a large chunk of time when they can be doing their job of moving your teeth. More consistent use of aligners means faster, better results.
For most patients, Invisalign treatment will last about one year. However, the timeline varies, depending on factors such as patient age and the extent of tooth misalignment. For example, while Invisalign is excellent for adults, the body may adjust more slowly to treatment than it would during teenage years. We provide each patient with a full outline of their individual procedure timeline before they would need to commit to treatment.
